Vava Furniture Corp. was founded in 2012 by President and CEO Michael Tawadrous, out of the desire to bring a unique customer-oriented approach to Furniture. The furniture industry is segmented into seven different categories namely:

  1. Living room furniture
  2. Bedroom furniture
  3. Kitchen and dining furniture.
  4. Outdoor furniture
  5. Office furniture
  6. Lamps and lightings
  7. Home décor.

Vava Furniture Corporation operates majorly as a home furnishing marketing, design, and logistic company in Nigeria. It designs, imports, manufactures, and markets residential household, corporate and public-utilized furniture products.

VAVA presently employs a diverse workforce of about 1334 team members to support its operations. We produce and retail over 35,000 units of finished furniture annually in Nigeria alone, and presently have about 16 showroom locations in the country, all within the space of just 11 years; making VAVA ONE of the fastest-growing Furniture brands in Nigeria.

From our 13 ultra-modern 200,000 sq.mt. Factories and warehouses, based in Bogije Lagos, produce a wide range of furniture. Regardless of the product area, our philosophy is to design, manufacture, and also retail well-designed products to premium standards;

With a fully implemented in-house quality management system incorporating internal daily experience with external growing technology, we hope to easily achieve number 1 status in West Africa quickly.

OUR TEAM

VAVA is a combination of a carefully selected blend of well-educated teams, both highly skilled and semi-skilled work force, this team are determined to ensure that the company goals and objectives are achieved at all times. We endeavour to venture into new and pragmatic ways of doing business and by doing so; considerate effort is also made by the management in training and improving the staff to meet up with the emerging trend.

Vava presently has about 16 showrooms spread across most of the geo-political zones in Nigeria. Our target is to have 5 additional outlets across the country by the end of year 2024.

We are currently located in:

Lagos State, Oyo State, Kano State, Port Harcourt Rivers State and FCT Abuja.

SUBSIDIARIES AND DIVERSIFICATION

After just 11 years post-incorporation, vava furniture has not only become the best and a household name in the furniture industry, we have also diversified into other sectors of the Nigerian Economy. This includes the establishment of a real estate firm which was established in the year 2020 and has recently completed its flagship project which was a 10 storey building residential apartment at Lekki Phase1 and also a recent project which is on going project of three blocks of 12 storey buildings. This has been part of our forward integration strategy.

VAVA furniture has also diversified into the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry by partnering with a globally recognized pharmaceutical company, who are makers of differs range of cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. Hence VAVA FURNITURE has grown to become a fledging CONGLOMORATE.
